Tonight I decided to try something different with my potatoes. I LOVE potatoes but mashed potatoes can get a little boring after a while. I put my apron on tonight and made some YUMMY Hasselback potatoes. All of my children really liked these as well as the husband. He actually told me that he always wants me to make potatoes like this. I will be sure to make these again very soon!
Check out my Hasselback Potatoes Recipe below:
Hasselback Potatoes Recipe
A recipe for Hasselback Potatoes
- 6 Potatoes
- 4 TBS Butter
- 2 TSP Sea Salt
- 1 TSP Garlic Powder
- Olive oil
Clean your potatoes and place them on a flat surface or cutting board
You will start at the end of each potato and cut slits almost all the way through, cutting along the potato, leaving 3 to 4mm between each cut.
Melt butter. Add sea salt, garlic powder and stir.
Take a spoon and pour the melted butter in between the cuts of each potato.
Bake for 40 minutes at 375. Remove from oven and drizzle olive oil on top of each potato. Return to oven for an additional 5 minutes.
Remove from oven. Cool and enjoy!
