Sloppy Joe Casserole

Back when I was young I remember I LOVED sloppy joes. I also have always loved corn bread. I really like the texture and I like that it has a sweet flavor to it. Since sloppy joes can be a little sweet and so can cornbread  it only makes sense to put the two together.

Pictured above is a sloppy joe casserole I made for the family last week. Want to try it? Here is an easy recipe below:

Me again. Unless I have seen the picture of the recipe, I would not know where the batter of the cornbread comes in. The recipe states how to blend ingredients on the cornbread box. Never does the recipe state how or where the cornbread batter is used. I ask that you re-write the recipe and directions to be able to execute the dish.
      Thank you

I haven’t had sloppy joes in far too long. This looks like a delicious spin on a classic.

My ex would have liked that. I’m not much of a beefeater myself. Now I don’t need to cook it anymore 😀

Wait. Did I miss something? The directions say add brown sugar. However, it’s not listed in the ingredients.
How much brown sugar is one supposed to add?

It would help if the recipe said to put the cornbread mixture on top of the meat and then the cheese. That step is missing.
