Snickerdoodles Cookie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp sugar for coating
  • 3 tsp cinnamon for coating

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl or mixer add 1 1/2 cups of sugar, butter and adds until well blended.
  2. In a separate bowl add flour, baking soda, cream of tartar ad salt. Use whisk to blend dry ingredients.
  3. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Chill the dough in the fridge for at least 15 minutes. Also place cookie sheet in fridge to chill as well.
  4. In a small bowl or dish add 3 tbsp sugar and 3 tsp cinnamon. Mix well.
  5. Shape dough into small 1 inch balls. Roll eat ball into cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place on baking chilled baking sheet and bake at 350° for 10-12.
  6. Remove from oven and place cookies on wire rack to cool.
