Melt a tablespoon of butter in a skillet. Once the butter is melted, add 1/2 of a large chopped onion and cook over medium heat until the onions are soft and start to turn gold.

Add ham to skillet and cook over medium heat until ham starts to brown.

Add chicken broth and water, cook over medium-high until mixture start to simmer and then gnocchi. Continue to cook until gnocchi is soft and tender.

Add peas, heavy whipping cream and some salt and pepper and stir to blend together.

Add the cheese and cook over low until cheese is melted.

Remove from heat and enjoy!
