At my house we go through a ton of coffee. I actually have 3 different coffee pots because I like variety. When you have friends or family over, its always nice to offer them a hot cup of coffee, even if they aren’t a coffee drinker. We even keep marshmallows, hot chocolate, creamer and other goodies on stock to make our own gourmet coffees. Who needs to go spend $3 or $4 dollars on 1 cup when I can make my own at home.
Anyhow, since we do make coffee often at my house I was happy to review some of the Gevalia Kaffe coffees. If you have never tried the Gevalia Kaffe blends, they offer a Swedish-style of coffee that is rich without the bitter aftertaste that you might enjoy.
Gevalia has been making their coffees since 1853 and have a deep history of finding and blending the finest Arabica coffee beans from locations around the world. Their coffees are made from selected beans that are grounded extra fine to produce a rich coffee experience for their customers.
In the past, you could only purchase the Gevalia coffee online. Today, you can find this coffee in the aisles of U.S. coffee supermarket aisles nationwide including Safeway! They currently offer their coffees in 10 different varieties, including roast and ground, whole bean, flavored and decaffeinated varieties below:
- Gevalia Traditional Roast (ground and whole bean)
- Gevalia House Blend
- Gevalia House Blend Decaf
- Gevalia French Roast (ground and whole bean)
- Gevalia Colombia
- Gevalia Espresso Roast
- Gevalia Vanilla
- Gevalia Chocolate Mocha
We received the House Blend and French Roast. Of those two, I would say the House Blend is my favorite! I definitely want to try the Gevalia Vanilla and the Gevalia Chocolate Mocha next.
