When it comes to making dinner for my family, I often am finding new ways to cook chicken. Since everyone in my family likes chicken, it is up to me to find different ways to make it appealing for us all.

I often use breadcrumbs when making a coating for my chicken. I have been hearing about the Panko bread crumbs, but had not had a chance to try them until tonight. I have had the box of Kikkoman Planko Bread Crumbs in my pantry for about a week, just waiting to be used in one of my meals. Tonight I felt a little in the baking mode, so I got out the ingredients for dinner, including these two key ingredients.

I actually got this recipe from the Kikkoman website and was a little curious about how the Soy Sauce was going to enhance the flavor. The end result was delicious. The chicken breast came out moist and tender with an excellent taste to it! Now for the recipe.

We do enjoy all sorts of foods, but I think that the Mexican dishes that I make our some of our favorites. Now usually you will find me making tacos or enchiladas when we are craving something spicy. These are two meals that I know that I can make that everyone will enjoy.

Growing up, one of my grandfather’s favorite dishes was Tamale Pie. Now that my grandparents are older, I don’t think he gets his tamale pie very often and I am thinking that I should surprise him one day with a homemade dinner. So I have been practicing with my own version of tamale pie, which includes VELVEETA® cheese and Ro*Tel® tomatoes. I made this dish last night and it was a hit (especially with me).

If you are in the mood for something with a little spice to it, try my VELVEETA® Tamale Pie Recipe:

I think the VELVEETA® made a great topping for my tamale pie. I do suggest keeping it in the fridge until you are going to grate it as it becomes hard to grate when it becomes warm or at room temperature.

Next month I will be featuring another recipe with VELVEETA® and Ro*Tel® tomatoes too!

Winners will be picked each week, and the more points you collect the more chances you have of winning! Grand prize winner will receive $15,000!

This past weekend I hosted a Be the Chef with Chef Boyardee House Party and it was a huge success! During my party, my guests tried 3 different Chef Boyardee recipes that I prepared before they arrived. These three dishes all included one of the Chef Boyardee products pictured above. Before my party, I had only used the Chef Boyardee products as quick meals for my kids when I don’t have time to cook. They are handy to open, put in a bowl and pop in the microwave. Now, I have found ways to include these products that my children LOVE in actual meals that are prepared on the stove-top or oven.

The three Chef Boyardee dishes that I prepared included:

Ravioli Lasagna

Cheeseburger-roni

Taco-roni

Out of the three dishes that I cooked for the party, the Ravioli Lasagna was the favorite of the three. While my guests said that all the dishes tasted good, it amused me that the recipe that included SPINACH was everyone’s favorite (especially the kids). Now I know a way to get them to eat their spinach and not complain.

The Chef Boyardee Recipes that I made can all be found at the ReadySetEat website. What I like about these recipes is that they are easy and don’t take much time to prepare. There are also a couple recipes that I need to try! Sometimes there are days when I don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen. On the ReadySetEat website, you can view reviews, comments and suggestions on the recipes too!

You know up until last month, I had never tried the Heinz 57 Sauce. I am a big fan of condiments and I had never tried Heinz 57 Sauce on anything. Don’t get me wrong, I have heard of it and seen the bottle on the shelves the grocery store, just never grabbed a bottle to buy. This year Heinz 57 Sauces is celebrating their 100th Anniversary, so that right there must mean that the stuff is good!

Sometimes there are those that have their favorite steak sauce and they don’t want try anything else, wink wink. Well what I found out is that Heinz 57 tastes awesome on chicken. When it comes to meals that I prepare, I would say that we eat chicken more often than all other meats. With that said, I am always looking for new ways to give it some flavor. This past month I have been using the Heinz 57 in various chicken dishes to give it some zest. The kids and the hubby have been pleased with my Heinz 57 chicken dishes too!

I will definitely be keeping a bottle on stock in my fridge!

Below is a recipe that you can find on the Heinz 57 website for Heinz 57 Chicken Turnovers.
