One thing that is good melted is marshmallows! While S’mores are something I really like, they tend to be messy. Here is another recipe from FamilyFun Magazine for a Sweet and Toasty Parfait that just might be better than S’mores and requires no flame.

  • 3 marshmallows
  • 3 tbsp graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup chocolate pudding


  1. Place marshmallows on a parchment-lined baking sheet and broil on high for 1 minute.
  2. Place graham cracker crumbs in an 8-oz. glass or jar.
  3. Add chocolate pudding and top with the marshmallows.

One thing I would have to say I have a weakness for is chocolate! I enjoy chocolate in a variety of forms and one of my favorites would be PIE! For those of you that love chocolate but don’t like to use the oven, I have a yummy recipe for an easy chocolate mousse that requires no baking!

Beware! This recipe is not only super easy to make, it is also delicious.

  • Jell-O Instant Chocolate Pudding & Pie Filling 5.9 oz
  • 1½ cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • white chocolate bar
  • ¼ cup Heath Toffee bits (optional)
  • Oreo Cookie pie crust
  1. In a mixing bowl add Jello-O chocolate pudding mix, whipping cream, milk and Heath Toffee bits.
  2. Mix on medium speed for 2-3 minutes until thick.
  3. Spread mixture into pre-made Oreo Cookie pie crust and smooth until even.
  4. Grade the white chocolate bar over pie to create a topping.
  5. Chill pie 2-3 hours to create a thicker consistency but you can also choose to eat it right away!

Easy And Oh So Yummy Apple Crisp Recipe

Apple Crisp Recipe

Have you been looking for a way to make apple crisp different than the average recipe. Try making it with the Apple Sparkling ICE. Below is an apple crisp recipe that is sure to be a great spring or summer treat.


For The Crumble:

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stick cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes

For The Apples:

  • ¾ cup Crisp Apple Sparkling ICE
  • 8 red apples (Gala or Fuji preferred)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1½ tablespoons cornstarch


For the crumble

  1. Combine brown sugar and flour in a mixing bowl, and cut in the butter with your hands.  Mixture should look coarse with some chunks the size of peas.
  2. Cover and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to harden up.
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour the crumble on.
  5. Bake for 12-18 minutes or until light brown.
  6. Place baking tray on a wire rack to cool.


For the apples

  1. Core and cube the apples and place in a large bowel of cold water to avoid browning.
  2. Whisk together the cornstarch with Sparkling ICE in a small mixing bowl, set aside.
  3. In a medium saucepan melt 2 tablespoons of the butter.
  4. Add the apples, salt, and cinnamon.  Sautee over a medium flame for 3 minutes.
  5. Pour the Sparkling Ice and cornstarch mixture into the pot, stirring continuously.
  6. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Turn off the heat and stir in the remaining tablespoon of butter.



  1. Break the cooled crumble up with your hands to desired size.
  2. Scoop the warm apples into 6 small ramekins or an 8 inch square serving dish.
  3. Top with crumble.
  4. Serve immediately.

For the last month or so I had been really wanting to make some peanut butter cookies. I have a few jars or more of Planters Peanut Butter in my pantry and I wanted to put some it to use. Despite the weather being a little on the warm side yesterday, I put on my apron and made some delicious peanut butter chocolate chip cookies.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • ½ cup butter (soft)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  1. In a bowl add peanut butter, butter and sugars and cream together.
  2. Add egg, vanilla, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix well.
  3. Add flour and stir until blended.
  4. Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet and bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes until cookies are golden brown.
  5. Remove cookies from cookie sheet and place on wire rack to cool.


You can also add chopped nuts to make them even better…. Enjoy!
